How Long have you been a coach at CrossFit Awaken?

Since 2016. 

How long have you been a diehard CrossFitter?

Nine, going on 10 years.

What inspired you to become a CrossFit coach?

I enjoy helping people.

What has been your best coaching experience so far?

There are too many experiences to narrow down!  I love to hear that people enjoy coming to my classes.

What’s the most common mistake you see among new athletes at your affiliate? 

Trying to do too much too soon.

If you could give someone new to CrossFit just one piece of advice, what would it be?

Take time to enjoy the learning process of getting to know movements.

Would you share with us your favorite tip or cue that we might find useful to use in our training?

Goals don't happen overnight.

What’s your biggest goal and what are you doing about it?

I am working on losing weight and getting stronger.  To achieve this, I meal prep and attend 5 classes a week.

What is your favorite Cheat Meal?

Asian food, Thai food and champagne.

What is your favorite thing to WOD in?

I love to work out in Lululemon crops a sports bra and my favorite Awaken shirt.
